Background

I spent 10 weeks in an Innovation Design Co-op for Procter & Gamble Beauty Care Innovation Design Studio. I worked on teams with designers, researchers, scientists, and marketers.

Due to the NDA that I signed, I can't share the 4 internal projects I worked on. As an intern side project, I addressed a problem space in Hair Care with an innovation application. I underwent the design process from research to ideation to a high-fidelity prototype.

What I worked on

App redesign

Conducted category audits, UX and product research for an app prototype.

Brand design

Created 4 distinct different visual identities for digital social media brand assets.

3D prototyping

Led participatory design workshop for creating 3D package prototypes.

Design envisioning

Discovered new hair care problem space to research + ideate design solution.

Designing Innovative Solutions

With everything I created, I worked on imagining alternatives that could be applicable for 5-10 years into the future.

I relied heavily on in/out category audits and analyzing user-research to inform my design decisions. The process reminded me how there is no formula for the design process.
